Product Description Full-grain tumbled leather upper with breathable 3-stripe perforations. Lightweight molded EVA midsole. Excellent traction. 11.2 oz.
Product Description Adidas' Smith Millennium Tennis Shoe is an update of the classic, 1960s legend. The shoe features a full-grain, tumbled leather upper for comfort and a soft feel; an injected EVA midsole and insole for long-term, lightweight cushioning and comfort; a dimple sole; and a compression-molded EVA, non-marking outsole. This is a market-leading, clean, white tennis shoe very rich in detail--the Stan Smith tradition is truly taken to a new level. About Adidas The vision of company founder Adolf Dassler has long become reality, and his corporate philosophy the guiding principle for successor generations. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant. Adi Dassler's aim was to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. It all began in 1920, when Adi Dassler made his first shoes using the few materials available after the First World War. The Adidas name dates back to 1948, deriving from the first two syllables of Adi Dassler's first and last name. One year later, Adi Dassler registered the Three Stripes as a trademark. After a period spanning almost 70 years, the Dassler Family withdrew from the company in 1989, and the enterprise was transformed into a corporation ("Aktiengesellschaft"). French-born Robert Louis-Dreyfus was Chairman of the Executive Board from April 1993 to March 2001. It was he who initiated Adidas' flotation on the stock market in November 1995. Adidas--a name that stands for competence in all sectors of sport around the globe. Today, the Adidas product range extends from shoes, apparel and accessories for basketball, soccer, fitness and training to adventure, trail and golf.

No doubt... very simple... April 3, 2007 Oli Orn Atlason (Iceland) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Finally found a pair of these shoes after looking for a long time (had to look abroad from where I live). These shoes are basically the best shoes I've ever worn (first season of Michael Jordan basketball shoes aside). I like them so much that I bought two pairs, so that if they'd stop making these I'd have at least 2-3 years to find new shoes that I like and fit me like a glove. Ten times more comfortable that the regular Stan Smith's (the sole and the insides of these shoes are way more comfortable than the regulars). In short, let me put it this way... those two pairs I bought from Amazon - are pairs number 5 and 6 so I've been wearing these shoes for more than 7 years. As long as they keep makin' them, I'll keep buyin'em, without a doubt!
Comfortable, but shoddy workmanship February 14, 2007 V. Jan 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought a pair of these shoes a few years ago, thinking that they might be an improvement over the original Stan Smiths, which I'd been wearing for years. It's a very comfortable shoe, lightweight with adequate support but the seams started to split on the show (left shoe, inner side, on the upper) long before the sole started to wear out. Having literally gone through over a dozen pairs of the original Stan Smiths, I'd always worn out the soles long before the uppers wore out. It was a disappointment to have to throw out the Millennium version while there was still plenty of tread on the soles. Am back to wearing the original Stan Smiths, and Rod Lavers.
There isn't a more comfortable tennis/casual shoe November 14, 2005 Hannibal Lector (Jersey) made PERIOD!!. The leather on this shoe is glove soft and the sole is like a featherbed. I always enjoyed adidas tennis sneakers over the years but this is the only sneaker that allows me to serve and volley with comfort and agility as if I was floating across the court. THey just look cool to. I look forward to buying 2 more pairs as back ups and tryingthe stan smith II as well. JUst try these you will love em'.
Great pair of shoes March 9, 2007 SS (California) Bought 2 pairs of this shoe a few years ago and couldn't find them anywhere else. Finally found them here and will probably buy a few more pairs. Each of the 2 original pairs are still in use but needed new ones that looked cleaner than the other ones do now. Great pair of shoes!
Excellent product, service - overall transaction! June 13, 2007 P. Bonner (Roswell, NM) Fast shipping, reasonable price, and quality product were part of a total quality transaction - Thanks!
