Nice adapter, no microphone March 26, 2008 S. Borbat 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Great adapter. It has to be unplugged if you want to make a phone call. When plugged in all of the sound is routed to the headphones, but since this adapter lacks a microphone. So the person who you are calling will not hear you. There is also a similar adapter for sale that has a microphone built in. And some which also have a power connector. For car use, I would recommend a splitter with audio and power. And an audio adapter with a built in microphone.

HTC 3.5mm Headset Stereo/Mono Adapter for AT&T Tilt 8925 / TyTN II / 8525 TyTN / Spint Mogul PPC6800 6800 / Verizon VX6800 / T-Mobile Wing / Dash / HTC Touch etc This does just what it says; allows you to use normal headphones instead of the proprietary ones that come with the hTouch (which are not great). The price is great and the quality is high. The wire is short and flexible. This is good for me as I use this to connect to my car stereo and because the wire is short and flexible it doesn't get in the way or get caught on things. If you own the hTouch you owe it to yourself to get one of these.
Only worked once September 11, 2008 Bduckman (Branson, MO, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Was initially very happy with it the first time I used it. (I use it watch videos on airplanes while travelling.) The second time, I had to wiggling it around to get it work. The third time, I couldn't get it to work at all.
HTC Adapter September 29, 2008 TLW (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this item so I could use it for my HTC Tilt in the AUX connection in my truck for a speaker phone. I can hear my callers, but they can't hear me. The speaker part of my cellular won't activate when it is plugged into my phone....
Awful June 8, 2008 Dr. Trevor S. Lewis (Venice, CA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Stoppeed workign after less than one day. Sound is only goming out of one speaker on my head phone. Avoid.
