I purchased these for my 5-year-old daughter. Once on, she finds the shoes comfortable. They seem durable and well-made for an active girl her age. The only issue is that since you don't tie the shoes, they are a bit snug and, consequently, are a bit tough to get on. Usually she needs a little help. Other than that, they seem like great shoes - a step above what usually find at Payless for around the same price.
