Product Description The Razor A3 scooter is updated with larger, 125mm urethane wheels and ABEC-5 high-speed bearing. The front wheel is equipped with shock-absorbing suspension to help smooth out your ride. The aircraft-grade aluminum construction includes folding handlebars, rear fender brake, and a wheelie bar for tricks. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
Amazon.com Product Description The original kick scooter just got a whole lot better, making it even more fun for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the Razor A3 will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest. The Razor A3 is made of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Razor combined the traditional aluminum construction, however, with a number of recent innovations, including a springless shock-absorbing system that makes bumpy pavement feel smoother than ever and an all-new wheelie bar that guarantees an extra dollop of fun. Add in such details as 98 mm urethane wheels, ABEC-5 high-speed bearings, a patented rear fender brake, and a patented folding mechanism and you have a great kick scooter for virtually any situation. This version of the Razor A3, which supports up to 143 pounds and is recommended for ages 6 and older. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor Pro. Good looking and strong September 27, 2006 Paul Brown Jr. (Cincinnati Ohio USA) 44 out of 45 found this review helpful
This Razor A3 scooter is a great step up from the inexpensive, less robust scooters you'll find in many stores. Very strong: my 11-year-old weighs about 100 pounds and it has easily absorbed use and abuse from him and his friends for months. The large wheels are a great feature, as is a neat adjustment which you can use to keep the handle secure to the base without rattling. The hand grips are very comfortable, and are also the part most likely to wear first, but they are easy to replace if you ever need to.
Razor A3 Kick Scooter, 2006 Version (Blue) December 29, 2006 H. Ness (CA) 27 out of 32 found this review helpful
I ordered this scooter for my son as a Christmas present. When it arrived I found it was not the scooter described by Amazon. Both scooters were labeled A3 (Blue), but the one I received did not have the shock-absorbing system or the kickstand, both features my son was looking forward to using. My call to Amazon customer service was unsatisfactory as they had little interest in what could be a "bait and switch" tactic. I have returned the scooter. 1-6-07 update- Giving Amazon the benefit of the doubt, I ordered the scooter with the kickstand and shock-absorbing system again. The result was the same. The scooter shipped did not match the scooter in the description.
Lots of Fun August 31, 2006 C. BURNHAM (Michigan) 17 out of 19 found this review helpful
I purchased this scooter for my 6-year old's birthday. It has been a huge hit. She previously had a 3-wheeled scooter also by Razor that just didn't move fast enough. The only problem is that all the neighbor kids and her 3 year-old sister want to ride it so much that she doesn't get to ride it as much as she wants. It is solidly built and has a very smooth ride.
Dangerous January 9, 2007 Donna R. Marsh (La Habra, CA USA) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
The handle bars keep loosening up which in turn makes it very dangerous. Also, the base metal footboard is cracking. I wouldn't spend the money on this scooter. It's not worth it. Spend your money on a cheaper model Razor.
Perfect for a 7 year old February 17, 2007 Christopher S. B. Jam 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Bought it for daughter's Christmas gift. She loves it. Cool color. Adjustable height is useful for her short height. She is very proud with it. Bigger wheels gives a bit more stability.
