I started looking into getting a set of reusable shopping bags a few months ago, but was looking for something easier to deal with than string bags and less bulky than some of the tote-type bags out there. These gems from Envirosax are the BEST! Not only are they good for the earth, but I far prefer them to plastic bags for ease of use. They hold a TON--as much as two or three plastic grocery store bags, the wide handles make them easy to carry without hurting your hands, even when they're loaded, they're nice and sturdy, and they look really stunning.
They wash up easily--a leaking bottle in one bag was no problem, threw it in the wash and good as new, no fuss. Even more than all these positives is the fact that they roll up into a tiny, tiny bundle EASILY--this is not a situation where you wonder how the heck the manufacturer got it to be so small, because you can never get it back that way again. These awesome bags fold, then roll up and snap into something the shape and size of, as someone else mentioned, a kiwi fruit. I keep the pouch of five in my car, but usually have one or two in my purse--they take up NO room. I often hit the grocery store with just my wallet and a couple of these rolled-up bags in the pocket of a jacket or sweatshirt, and I'm set. They also have a neat little loop on the top that hooks on to the metal bit that many bag carousels have, keeping the bag open and upright even better.
I can't praise the engineering, design and packaging of these bags enough. I bought these because I "should" do more for the planet, but I use them constantly because they're so much more practical and easy to use than anything else, including plastic and paper. I have the Amazonia set--it's vibrant and gorgeous--and bought the Flora set for my mother. I can't recommend these highly enough!

Love these bags. Small enough to keep one in my purse all the time, or carry the pouch into the grocery store. The 5 in the pouch hold all my groceries, and are quite strong. They come out great if you need to wash them, fold up very nicely, and you can use them for anything. I'll never go back to those green store reusables again. Worth the investment.

Have bought two of the sets- I give out individual bags as gifts. Really nice to carry books in, groceries, and other shopping items. The colors the bags come in are really pretty. Bags will also be nice for traveling. You won't be sorry.

These are a great product! They fold into a tiny pouch that you can put into a purse or pocket.
I always forget to bring bags into the store. Envirosax makes it easy to be green.
