A single Envirosax rolls up to be about the size of a piece of sushi and weighs only 1.4oz (about 40g). My Mikado pouch came in the mail today, and I've already had the satisfaction of using one while out shopping. My mom and I discovered Envirosax at a cute store in Montreal recently and were both impressed at how fantastic they are. After trying the one she bought for a few weeks, I knew I had to stock up for myself. They're super lightweight and really easy to roll up into a little sushi-sized bundle that's held shut by attached straps with snaps-- great because then you're not fussing with some separate pouch like with so many similar reusable bags. We both own many other bags, canvas and mesh and nylon, that too often get left behind in the car or at home. Envirosax are small and light enough that I will always keep one in my purse. And they're so cute and cheery, too!
Note: unlike the Flora line, which are printed on one side and a solid color on the other, the Mikado designs have prints on both sides. Go figure.
Update 8/14/08: It still makes me happy every time I whip out one of my pretty Envirosax at the market or at the mall. Functional and uplifting-- what more could you ask for?

I have a set of Envirosax bags in the Mikado pattern. The bags are light weight, strong, roomy, and elegant! The bags wash up nicely and are easy to refold. At first the plastic snaps were a little tight, but they loosened and now work well. They more than exceeded my expectations! Having beautiful bags helped me to get over my embarrassment at asking sales clerks to use them. While they are a tight fit in my medium small purse, I keep them in my car until needed and then put them in my purse for shopping trips. I have been delighted as the bags have been admired!

I love these bags not just because they are an efficient way to save some resources, but because the are durable and easy to use. Having a reusable bag that rolls up and can be thrown into my purse is perfect for the market or even the mall- I don't have to worry about attempting to remember my reusable bag, just keep them in my purse, no having to carry an extra bulky bag around.

I have several of these bags and have been buying them for everyone I know. The colors and designs are very stylish, and they fold up so small and weigh nothing. I always keep a few in my purse and have them handy for purchases whenever, wherever I need them. They hold quite a lot too, and they're much more comfortable to carry around the mall than shopping bags. I haven't taken a bag from a store in over a year. Get some-- you won't regret it!

I absolutely love my Envirosax bags. I loved it so much that I bought many more to give away as Christmas presents. But I handed them out a few months early so my friends and family could start using them. They are very strong, compact, and very chic! I can fit two in my purses and I leave the rest in my glove compartment. They are very easy to open and easy to fold up. The Mikado series is my favorite because the design is on both sides. I also have Rume bags and though I also like my Rume bags, I prefer the Envirosax bags because they are slightly larger,they fold up smaller, and I like the material (Rume bags seem stiffer and not as smooth as Envirosax bags). You won't regret buying these bags.
