Columbia Shorts that stay up - Great October 13, 2005 Roland J. Provost (Dover, NH United States) 21 out of 22 found this review helpful
Very nice light packable and quick drying shorts. Add your own belt and unlike other Columbia shorts you can carry a knife, a cell phone, a PDA , wallet, and change and they still stay up. Also pockets don't sag down below the leg if you keep you change or PDA in them another Columbia problem. Nicely made very functional shorts.
Swim trunks or Flotation gear? November 8, 2006 Ronald Land (Cleveland) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
In general, I am pleased at the product. However, I did have to make a tailoring adjustment. The leg opening were way too wide at c. 13.5 inches. A jump into the pool and they expanded like floatation gear. When walking about wet, they flapped like bloomers. I had a tailor narrow the leg openings to 10 inches. The problem was solved. Note that this product is packed with pockets, front and rear. The front pockets have a tendency to turn inside out when swimming. They then have the appearance of small trolling fish nets dragged alone side the trunks. Too bad they don't have a button or zipper. I installed Velcro strips. This solved the problem. Ron Land
Great water shorts July 27, 2007 F. VALDES Perezgasga (Torreon, Mexico) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These shorts are lightweight, sturdy, well cut for a number of activities and good enough to wear under any circumstance not just as a water short. The pockets are roomy but certainly a risk as you may be carrying something you don't want to get wet.
Good for swim or leasure September 25, 2006 William C. Hinkle 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These shorts are great for all around use. They look great and are comfortable for swimming or just wearing around. I am in college and wear these to class as they are lightweight and still have enough pockets to carry everything I need. they are alos stiffer than a lot of swim trunks, so they don't flop around too bad if your pockets are full
Pretty good July 12, 2007 Brew & Grill (TN) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Nice design, good pockets and plenty of them. Very comfortable to wear. Have not done any serious swimming in them yet. Just a little long in the inseam.
