I just pointed someone else to this link and the more I thought about it the more I felt compelled to write a review -- this case is terrific! I use mine as a storage and travel case for my wooden flute, and it's served me wonderfully for more than two years. It's been thrown into the backs of cars, sat on, kicked across several stages (accidentally, of course ;-)), packed into checked baggage, and dropped on the ground from varying heights more times than I can count -- but the flute has always emerged safe and sound.
Seriously, they should try one of those egg-drop competitions with this thing.
OK, that's about it, but I love mine, ugly as it is -- it's rugged, lightweight, solid, has minimal things that can go wrong with it, and you can't beat the price!
