Solid October 1, 2007 Nosfera 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
Excellent construction, sleek look and great price. That pretty much sums it all up. If you're worried about it being a lame cheap-as-free-quality sword, then stop worrying! I've performed several katas with it, and it had a great feel compared to some others I've bought online. If you're having trouble deciding which sword to get, get this one. Don't worry about the terrible wording in the ad. Though not mentioned, it does come with a sheath. I don't know why it wouldn't, but this is the internet. Nevertheless, GREAT SWORD!
Good for display, not for use. March 20, 2008 Shane Danielsroberts 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Was not expecting too much, but based on other reviews I anticipated the build quality to at least be respectable. Within minutes of handling the nylon wrapping had moved all around so that all you were gripping was a sharp wooden handle. The strap broke on the first day. The blade soon became loose within the handle. My friend was impressed by the sharpness of the blade and jokingly hit it against a 2x4 scrap I had lying around and the handle just broke completely. The blade is now hanging from the handle at 45 degrees. Not too good for display now!
