Waste of money! July 29, 2008 Fizz (Horse Shoe, NC) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I'm a big fan of the Miraclesuit but I wasted $132.00 on this one! I have two other Miraclesuits that I love but this one has disintegrated in the front drape section. I've only used it off and on (because I use the other two suits also) since I received it in Feb. and it's shot as of July. I use Suit Saver to wash my suits and my other two look just fine. I would stay away from this one!
Looks great on, but lasted one season July 27, 2008 Cinderlaura (Brooklyn, NY) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this suit last year in red. It looks fabulous on, but..... the sheer nylon drape in the front lasted only for a two month summer season in the northeast! Mind you, it was only worn a handful of times since I own other suits. I only hand washed in Woolite and the nylon drape in the front ate away in certain spots. Miraclesuit makes great suits, just stay away from the styles with a nylon front drape... unless your OK with the pricetag for just a few wearings!
Wonderful swimsuit if you follow the washing directions. August 10, 2008 K. McAuliffe (Oregon) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ive owned many of the captiva's in differant colors. They last for years if you follow the washing directions. They say never use woolite. Hand was only. I was shocked to see the other reviews. Both people used a chemical to wash there swimsuit. These will last MANY years if you follow the washing directions. I own lots of miraclesuits and this is one of my favs.
Meh. September 15, 2008 MommyTo2 The cut of this suit isnt really cute unless you are very thin, and if you are very thin then you probably dont need a miraclesuit anyway. The straps are adjustable and offer absolutly no support for a larger chest. If you order this, definitely go one size up!
Follow instructions and it will last. September 16, 2008 Rick V (IN) This is my wifes' second suit (have one 3 yrs old) and she just adores the Miraclesuit brand. The do indeed really shape the tummy and behind and have a really nice cut. We only wash these out without chemicals (natural soap gel) and they stay sharp and 'like new'. 130 bucks seems harsh for a suit but try one on in the store to see the effect. You'll be wearing it, which makes it worth the price. Also, sometimes there are really good deals on theseon Amazon, which we took advantage of. Do buy 1 size up from where you are normally in size (see Miraclesuit website sizing charts)
