Estee Lauder's Body Performance "Body Polish" is an exfoliating scrub that buffs away dead cells, leaving skin soft and smooth. It has a light tropical scent out of the tube, but doesn't leave a strong fragrance behind to clash with cologne or other products. The scrub is thick, cream-colored, and contains two types of grains: Skin-refining beads that are supposed to break down into smaller grains as you scrub and moisturizing beads that contain vitamin E. The skin-refining beads are larger and harsher than you would find in a facial scrub, but they're among the smallest I've seen in a scrub made for body. "Body Polish" is a little inconvenient in that it is not incorporated into a soap or shower gel. It must be applied to wet skin and rinsed thoroughly, so you have to shower, rinse, apply the scrub and rub it around, then rinse again. I prefer a body scrub/shower soap combination, which takes less time and works just as well as a separate scrub. But Estee Lauder's "Body Polish" does have some additional moisturizing properties, which is nice. This is an effective scrub that does a great deal more to improve skin texture than a nylon sponge or a loofah does.
