This nipple seems appropriate for the ages suggested, 3-6 mos. My son has no trouble latching onto it - he previously used AVENT bottles when he wasn't nursing, but then I learned of BPA and we switched. The anti colic valve is interesting and must be working as my little one doesn't have a problem with gas when using this bottle.
