Product Description UltiVent widemouth bottle system is designed to be as close to breast-feeding as possible in a reusable bottle. The orthodontic nipple is made of ultra soft silicone and encourages baby to use a natural suckling action similar to breast-feeding. The UltiVent valve is sensitive enough to ensure baby a constant, air free flow of liquid. Bottle can be disassembled for easy cleaning. Three-pack includes 2 blue bottles and 1 green bottle. Recommended for ages Birth+.

They're good bottles, but DO NOT BOIL THEM November 16, 2006 Daisymayfattypants (Denver) 20 out of 21 found this review helpful
We searched the entire country for bottles that aren't made of polycarbonate (PC) plastic, which contains bisphenol A, a compound known to be estrogenic. The only bottles in the US (besides glass, which isn't an option for us) that aren't made of PC were these, which are made of polypropylene (PP). They are good bottles and the nipples (silicone) work well for our son (age 3 mos). The only problem, and the reason I gave it four stars, is that the lid where you insert the nipple can warp if you boil it for sterilization, and then there can be major leakage around where the nipple should seal. This is a function of its being PP instead of the tougher PC plastic. So, soap and water on the lids! You can boil the silicone nipples.
so so January 19, 2007 M. Vasquez 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The nipples are great, not too wide and not too small either. They make the shape of the nipple part flat instead of round which my son likes, we tried tons of nipples and he was very picky. The thing I don't like about these bottles is that they leak from the bottom - you have to screw it on TIGHT to prevent leakages. When I go to wash the bottles and unscrew the bottoms I have to struggle to get them off - that's how tight I have to get them on there for them not to leak. Also I'm not sure if it's the material since these are polypropylene or the workmanship, but the plastic is thicker at the sites where you screw on the top and the bottoms and they just don't attach right, you have to play with it a little to get them on there straight enough to twist them into place without them going on slanted. I loved the ventaires but won't use polycarbonate.
I wish I had these when my son was a newborn! They are the best! June 27, 2007 Jenn Gallardo (East Palo Alto, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I read other peoples' reviews of these bottles and thought they were too good to be true. I got these when my son was 3 months old and had been mostly breastfed until then. I had to use bottles for a couple of weeks when he was less than a month old because he was having trouble latching on. We used Dr. Browns because they were recommended by the lactation consultant, but the flow was so fast that most of the milk ended up dribbling down my baby's chin and he was constantly gulping.
I wanted to start giving him a bottle of formula each day to get him used to it before I start taking a night class. I started looking for non-polycarbonate bottles after I saw a report on the news about the possible damaging effects of polycarbonate (which 90% of bottles contain). I came across these bottles.
I received the bottles and I was so surprised the first time he took the bottle because he wasn't just gulping, he actually had to work to get the milk out just like he does when he's at the breast. Since he wasn't swallowing with every suck it took him longer to finish the bottle which allowed him to suck for longer which is what he is used to. He was so comfortable that he was able to start falling asleep towards the end of the bottle like he often does at the breast.
I 100% recommend these bottles. They are not as complicated to put together as some others have mentioned. You just have to screw the bottom, on as well as the top, and this actually makes them very easy to clean. And, I have the Munchkin bottle warmer and the bottles fit just fine.
A Great BPA Free Bottle March 12, 2008 krystav (Central Valley, CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We used to use Playtex VentAire Wide but after recent news stories about the chemical BPA and doing my own research I decided to switch my son to a BPA free bottle. Sassy doesn't advertise that this line is BPA free, mainly because they have other product lines that contain BPA and maintain that it is not a concern. Company reps though have verified them as BPA free, however (more info at: http://zrecs.blogspot.com/2007/07/z-report-bisphenol-in-polycarbonate.html) I decided to give these a try and we have been happy with them. The medium speed #2 nipple that comes with this 9oz bottle is roughly equivalent to Playtex's fast flow that our son was used to.
BPA free and works with Avent nipples May 28, 2008 T. Lueck 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I didn't give five stars because they do leak occasionally (although it is difficult to tell whether it is due to user error) and the system with the provided #2 nipples provided a slow/difficult nursing experience for my three month old. I tried sucking and had a hard time getting much out as well. The good news is that Avent nipples fit with this bottle, and given the outrageous prices for replacement nipples for the Mam system, this is a godsend. The Avent #3 nipples are easily found in stores and provide the perfect draw for my baby. These bottles are not perfect, but I think that they are the best of the BPA free options. I tried and researched the other BPA free bottles on the market and the others were either too expensive or inferior products.
