Choking Hazard March 10, 2008 E. Miller (Oregon USA) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
Our 6.5 mo old son was able to fit the entire pacifier into his mouth and began choking on the soothie during a nap. We heard him gasping for breath over the monitor and had to sweep his mouth to remove it. We would caution all parents using these to not only make sure the nipple has not been chewed on to the point it could break off, but also be aware that not all babies mouths are within the safe range for these kinds of products.
Couldn't live without it April 22, 2008 DC Mom (Washington, DC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My baby loves these pacifiers. If your child has teeth, you should look into the Super Soothie pacifier - it's stronger to hold up to teethers. These pacifiers are specifically for babies without teeth.
These are hard and heavy July 6, 2008 CRB (Puyallup, WA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son took one look at this (5 months old at the time) and spit it right out. Since then I keep it in his toy basket and he will suck on it for fun and chew on it but when he wants a pacifier he still goes for one shaped like the avent or mum. So we're still looking for a bpa free one...
Choking Hazard August 28, 2008 J. Lobis My 7.5 month old son loved this pacifier. However, tonight he stuck the entire pacifier in his mouth and started choking. Luckily, I was in the room when this happened and was able to pull it out in time. However, he gagged so badly that he vomited profusely. I would also caution every parent against using this pacifier. It is very dangerous.
Great Suckers! September 15, 2008 Bernadette E. Armstrong My grandchildren won't even look at another brand of pacifier! Smoothies rule in our family!
