Product Description
Todays Mom Cozy Comfort Pregnancy Pillow Good maternity pillows are hard to find. It's all about mom's comfort when it comes to a pregnancy pillow and Today's Mom Cozy Comfort is an excellent, patent pending maternity pillow. Sleeping on a Cloud Today's Mom has listened to the biggest concerns of...well, moms of course! One of the biggest pregnancy pillow problems has been hard edges digging into mom's shoulder. The Cozy Comfort has a curve shaped, shoulder support design, that contours to the shoulder and provides a soft sleep. Another problem examined by Today's Mom is lumbar support. The Cozy Comfort correctly supports mommy's weight while she sleeps. An important upgrade mother's demanded was belly support. This maternity body pillow features a belly support allowing the tummy to rest and support the baby comfortable. Perhaps the best feature is the large, square head rest area. Other pillows feature a flimsy, oddly shaped area for the head. The Cozy Comfort's head support resembles a standard pillow to provide comfort. Convenience You can Count on This is one of the only pregnancy pillows designed with an easy to remove zipper-cover. Now, the pillow and case can be separated for washing. Both are machine washable, made of a 50/50 combination of polyester and cotton, and a 200 Thread count percale. This revolutionary pillow is patent pending. A smart, comfortable mom is Today's Mom. Order the Todays Mom Cozy Comfort Pregnancy Pillow today!

5 out of 5 stars Like Sleeping in a Cloud!   January 25, 2007

BUY THIS - IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNEY! I'm normally a back sleeper with arthritis in my hips & wasn't excited about sleeping on my side with the pregnancy, but this pillow has made sleeping a non-issue - it is truly amazing. I'm more comfortable than I have been in years. Also, the sides flip up and stay up easily for snuggling purposes, and the many trips to the bathroom. Plus the cover zips off and washes up nicely. I'm 5'9" and it fits me just fine and gives me the back, belly and leg support that other pillows can't (because they're the wrong shape). Take my advice - stop your search and buy this amazing pillow!

Purchase this pillow! I wasn't expecting to have a child at my age, I'm 39, but when I found out I knew that I had to do everything possible to keep this baby healthy and happy. I also knew I had to keep my body healthy and happy. With 4 previous pregnancies, I've become a veteran of sorts. I never thought a new product would turn me on my ear, but the Cozy Comfort Pillow by Today's Mom has done just that. I've tried other pregnancy pillows with my 2 previous children and found them to be OK, but with a lot of work to be done. My last pillow was by Leachco and it worked alright, but it could have been much, much better. For example, I woke up just as sore in the morning as I was when I went to bed. The Cozy Comfort promised improved lumbar support and I was very hesitant at first But, after making the purchase I believe every word. The shape of the pillow is better than any other pillow because it truly does support your frame. My back feels great in the morning and that is very important to me. The shape of the pillow also helps in supporting my legs and stomach. My belly gets actual support from the pillow and gives me lots of comfort. A small, but invaluable feature is the removable cover. Other pillows make taking the cover off the biggest hassle in the world, but not this one. It is so easy to remove that my husband even washed it for me!

5 out of 5 stars Not just for those who are pregnant...   August 19, 2007

I'm a middle aged man with a bad back and therefore cannot possibly get pregnant under any circumstances. I did hear about these pillows on a radio program, however, and decided to try this particular one for some much needed back support while in bed.

I was so thrilled with how well the pillow seems to have the much needed bumps and nooks just where you need them for both back and abdominal support. I slept with mine for the first time last night (after making some pillow cases for it...) and truly had an amazing sleep experience. I never thought my best spooning would be with some polyester batting in a keyhole shaped pillow. Go figure.

Some have mentioned that the enclosed pillow cover might be a bit caustic to the skin. It is made from a woven interfacing material and I believe is meant only to be a pillow protector as opposed to being an actual pillow case. Should Ralph Lauren have made such a pillow slip, let me tell you, it would clearly have listed for more than the actual pillow I purchased.

Since I'm not unfamiliar with a sewing machine or DIY projects I decided to make some pillow cases for this odd duck from some old Ralph Lauren oxford cloth sheets. I can tell you from experience it is a rather large footprint. You might squeeze two sides from a fitted queen sheet if you are lucky but I can definitely get three sides from a flat queen sheet if I take out the stitching on the top hem. Use the pillow protector as your pattern piece. It works just fine.

I'm not sure my idea of a fun Saturday morning is placing 30" zippers into pillow slips, but let me assure you the second one went in more easily than the first. They do sell a 30" light weight zipper at my local fabric store as a "robe replacement" zipper that suits the job perfectly.

The rest of the sewing is pretty straight forward except for the inner curve at the top. My pillow protector has a second panel sewn in at that position but I just cut slits in the selvage to releast the tension. I had already serpentine stitched the selvage so it wouldn't let go. It seemed to work out just fine.

So for those who are pregnant or the middle aged among us with bad backs, please do consider trying this product. If you are at all skilled with a sewing machine, make yourself some pillow cases and use the pillow liberally. I can't recommend it highly enough as something to brace your back, to cuddle your body, or to simply support those extra body parts you didn't see coming.

I highly recommend this pillow. Don't bother with single body pillows - you will be constantly lugging it from side to side as you turn or get out of bed. The sides on this pillow easily fold up. The head pillow is not too firm or high, unlike some of the other models. It is like sleeping in a supportive cloud. The only thing I would change is the fabric of the pillowcase - if you're used to 100% cotton, the poly blend will feel slightly sub-par.
