Product Description Whether flying on an airplane or traveling by train or bus, it is safest and most comfortable for your child to be in a car seat. But traveling with a young child, their seat, and your carry-on can be tricky. Not anymore. The Traveling Toddler strap allows you to attach your LATCH and top tether equipped toddler's car seat to a rolling carry-on suitcase. Simply attach the LATCH and top tether straps from the car seat to the Traveling Toddler and adjust the straps so that the car seat is held securely on the suitcase. Once adjusted, the car seat can be detached and reattached to the suitcase in seconds. Lift the handle of your carry-on bag and you have a fun new stroller. Now there's an easy and inexpensive way to take your toddler's car seat and other gear on your trip. You do not have to buy a special seat or suitcase. As long as your suitcase handle locks in place, you can push it like a stroller. Your hands are free for check in and its simple to unhook for security. Keep your child safe and comfortable in their own seat instead of squirming around in a seat made for an adult, or worse, squirming around on your lap. The Traveling Toddler has been tested with most major car seat brands including Graco, Eddie Bauer, Cosco, Evenflo, and Britax, and a variety of carry-on suitcases and has worked with every combination. It is important that the telescoping handle of your suitcase locks in place. If not, it might not stay extended when you try to push your child in front of you, though you would still be able to pull them. If flying, make sure that your car seat is FAA approved before traveling. The Traveling Toddler strap is made from heavyweight polypropylene webbing that will withstand 900 lbs of force. When not in use it easily slips in the pocket of your carry-on. As with any other wheeled child carrier, do not use the Traveling Toddler on stairs or escalators. Car seat and suitcase sold separately. Patent pending.

Great product - affordable and practical September 4, 2007 Lesmiz (Florida) 35 out of 35 found this review helpful
I recently used this product with my 2-year-old (23 lbs) in a Britax Marathon and a 22" carry-on roller. Overall, I am very happy with the strap. There are some minor details you need to know, here are the summary: PRO: - Your little one(s) will love it, it's a novelty stroller for them - Strap is simple and easy to use, it leveages(extends) the car seat's belt system (top and two sides) to attach to your carry-on roller. - It works well but make sure to do a test drive at home. - You will get postive comments from almost everyone you pass by. If you have extra straps with you, you can probably sell them on the spot. Amazon should be paying me for the upcoming business they will get from my word-of-mouth advertisment! CON: (not really cons but just observations) - Expectation on size. Not really a con but just a little let-down when you get your package. Has nothing to do with usability. - Price but still affordable. Probably cost $.50 to make so hats off for the inventor that came up with the idea - Roller fitting. Make sure to try it with your roller. Three points on this: 1) make sure to pack your roller full, otherwise it's difficult to "grab" the car seat; 2) make sure your roller's handle is not a single arm , you will need an opening to thread through the top belt; 3) make sure your roller handle is long enough so you don't have to bend down too much to pull or push the car seat/roller when attached Again, overall a fantastic product. I took a star off for the price. Otherwise it's a great purchase.
Love this Product. A lifesaver. November 3, 2006 Natalie (SF Bay Area) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
We recently used this with my 26 month old son on his Britax Marathon. It was so simple. With my husband's help, we were able to attach it to the carry-on while my son remained sleeping in his seat. My son is a real busy body and hates strollers, so I worried that he would not want to sit in it during our layover after being stuck in a plane for 4 hours, but he loved it. He actually couldn't wait to sit in it and be wheeled through the airport. Once we got to our final destination, he actually threw a fit because we would not take the seat out of the car and wheel him inside the house.
This strap saved me a bundle! October 11, 2006 Leigh (Miami, FL) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
After traveling trying to push a stroller and drag a suitcase and carry a carseat all at once, I was at my wit's end. I almost purchased a special strolling-carseat for $200... when I found this! What a smart invention. It saved me a bundle AND makes travel easier because I only have to push ONE item, my suitcase-stroller combo! When I need to check my carseat, I do it at the gate, just as you would a stroller. This item is excellent and the inventor gives great customer service as well.
great concept, lousy physics March 15, 2007 Flying Mama (Charles Town, WV United States) 11 out of 14 found this review helpful
We got this as well as a car seat bag with wheels. I was not going to pay $200 for a car seat/stroller combo, so we picked 2 alternatives. I was hoping that the Traveling Toddler would be great, but I found that it too much torque and stress on the suitcase. To add the weight of my car seat (a Britax) and my 22 pound 1 year old was just too much weight for the handle of the suitcase. It felt awkward and unstable. The physics of it just did not work. So, we put the seat in a bag with wheels and dragged it behind us. The bag was also better for our trip because we fly stand-by and wait and see what seats are left. There was no more window seats available on one of our flights, so we gate checked the seat and I was happy to know that it was protected.
Great invention October 14, 2006 G. Donahey 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I was quite skeptical when this small strap arrived in the mail because it looked so simple. But it worked very well and was a real life-saver. It was affordable and easy to use. I recently traveled alone with my 13-month old and didn't want to bring my stroller. I simply used the Traveling Toddler to attach our Britax Marathon car seat to my carry-on suitcase. It allowed me to "wheel" my son through the airport by myself, while carrying all of the stuff I needed to carry. I had a backpack as a diaper bag, and I was good to go! So simple I even had a hand free. I couldn't believe it. A flight attendant helped with the seat once I was on the plane. The only drawback was going through security and having to un-do and then re-do everything. But once you have the straps adjusted to the right tightness, it's easy to put back on without having to readjust the straps.
