Very light, very small, but not easy to fold/unfold May 15, 2007 FERNANDA FONTES 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We have purcahsed this stroller because we are frequently traveling by plane with our one-year-old son and we needed a lighter stroller. The summer infant is extremely light and we can take it as a carry on item in the airplane. However, we need both hands and one foot to fold it and unfolding it is even more complicated. As both actions seem very simple in the manual, our hope is that it will get easier as the stroller gets older. When it comes to comfort, our son who is pretty big for his age sits comfortably in this stroller (not true for the Jeep umbrella strollers), however it does not recline more than 45 degrees. Overall this stroller met our expectations and I would recommend it to any parents looking for a very compact and lightweight stroller.
Good travel stroller May 29, 2007 S. Pierzala (Kentucky) We purchased this stroller for a recent trip to England. Our daughter is three years old and weighs about 30 lbs. For the most part, this stroller proved to be very useful and easy to travel with. Pros: Compact when folded, fits in the overhead of larger airplanes (did not fit in the two commuter jets we took), stylish, maneuvers well (especially in compact areas), sturdy construction on stroller. Cons: the storage/carry bag ripped along the seam the first day of usage, somewhat heavy to carry long distances, unfolding can be a bit tricky. Even with some minor flaws, this is a good stroller. I find myself using this stroller more than my "regular" stroller.
hard to fold May 30, 2007 Melba V. Moore (bronx ny) it a great stroller my only this likes is i have a 8 month old baby and i have to hold him when i'm trying to fold the stroller and it very hard to do!
Ruined After One Trip December 18, 2007 J. David (NY USA) I just purchased this stroller for a trip to Costa Rica. It was great in the beginning of the trip, but now it barely works. I assume that it was the unpaved roads that did it in. I loved it for airports (although it is a bit difficult to fold), but I do not recommend it for outdoor use.
Ehhh... January 8, 2008 Jason S. Folds (Yokota AB, Japan) This stroller is not what I had expected. For me it is easy to fold and unfold, the hard part is maneuvering it. The wheels don't straighten out on tile floor and sometimes the handle part pops out ! I love how small it folds though. It's a win lose for me.
