buyer's remorse December 4, 2007 Erica (USA) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
A year into having this stroller... my baby just turned 1, and I hate the stroller. It sucks. It used to open and close easily but not anymore. It's super heavy and clunky. I feel guilty going over bumps on the sidewalk if she's sleeping. I know it must be jarring. The basket is hard to access. I can't think of one good thing about it. It makes me not want to buy another Graco product again. I guess the only good thing about it was in the beginning when I used the infant car seat and clicked the baby in straight from the car. If I had known this would only work well for about 6 months, I never would have gotten it. Also, the infant carseat only works for big babies until about 6 months. If the baby is at all long, this becomes too small very quickly.
Nice & Light December 6, 2007 Martita (Los Angeles, CA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have chronic back pain & this is a very light stroller to lift. I was going to buy the Quattro, but that was just too heavy for me. This one also folds easily and it is sturdy. The design & color are also very nice and can be used for both boys and girls.
Gorgeous Stroller! December 30, 2007 C. Otero (Fort Drum) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I was in search of a travel system that was pretty, but not too girly. And I came across this one! You'd think, blue and brown = boy. But these colors are more aqua and the brown is a sueded cloth. And there is a small, brown, floral print across both pieces. I get so many compliments on this stroller and carseat. It's so different than the other pink girly ones that Graco has out there. *But if you are looking for a stroller for a baby boy, keep looking, this is definitely a feminine stroller...just not the traditional feminine colors.* We really love it! I'm giving it a 4 because I love the print and it's easy to use, fold, lift. But it's not the "best" stroller out there. This is our "mall stroller" for times when we'll be inside or on flat surfaces most of the time. There is very little shock absorption, so this is not the best stroller for long walks outside on bumpy sidewalks. It's what Graco sells it as, "MetroLite"...designed pretty much for indoor or light outdoor use on flat surfaces. This system is a good deal for the Graco Snugride (highest safety rated carseat) and a functional stroller. We wanted the snugride, the stroller is a nice bonus to plug it into while shopping.
Cheap and Easy! January 9, 2008 Lisa Roa 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I looked at this travel system at a popular baby store, and the price was $100 more than I got it for here. Even though some reviewers complained about the floral pattern, it is very subtle and I think fine for a boy or girl. The set up was easy, and I like the way the car seat snaps into the stroller. The stroller is about 9 pounds lighter than other Graco models and this means saving your back in and out of the car. For the price, if it doesn't last forever, you can't be horribly upset. Also, I ordered this on a Saturday night and it came on Tuesday with the free supersaver shipping. Much easier than the baby super store! I also like the fact that you can buy and extra car seat base for every car that transports your baby so that it goes in and out in a snap. I know parents who did not like travel systems, but that was because the car seat was diffucult to put in and out of the stroller and the car. This problem has been solved with the metrolite.
Piece of Junk February 1, 2008 Michelle 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This stroller just frustrates me. It does not always fold easily and gets stuck often when I try to close it. The basket is hard to access. The fixed canopy does not provide enough shade. The worst part is the basket hinge comes apart from underneath the stroller when I open and close it and sometimes when folding the stroller the seat reclining lever becomes wedged inside the basket. This is very annoying as you have to unfold fix the problem and refold. When traveling this can become a nightmare as you have the fix the problem while holding your child if you child is not yet able to walk. I do not recommend.
