Editorial Review More than just a bathtub, the 4-in-1 Bath Station offers a variety of features that make this tub appropriate for several stages in a baby's life cycle. First, the tub's sling can be attached to a sink to cradle a newborn during a sponge bath. In addition, the sling mode can be utilized within the tub itself once baby has graduated to tub baths. An ingenious swing-out bath ring converts the tub into a bath seat once baby sits up on his own. Ultimately, the tub (without the sling or bath ring) works as a full-size toddler bathtub. All in all, this makes for a cleverly designed product that will be convenient for many bathing scenarios. --Jane Snyder
Product Description This innovative bath station works with four stages of your child's growth, from newborn to toddler. In Stage One, the bath sling fits easily into your sink, and in Stage Two, the sling can support your baby in the tub. In Stage Three, the bath ring supports a sitting baby in the tub, and in Stage Four, the Bath Station becomes a regular tub for your toddler. Features an easy-release drain plug and folds easily for storage.

It's a good product January 29, 2002 RA from LBC (Long Beach, CA USA) 196 out of 289 found this review helpful
Fascinating to read the venomous reviews by parents about this product:** "In the instructions it tells you how to avoid leaking, but it's a hassle to follow the instructions." Oh yeah, that's good parenting right there. You know what else is a hassle? Try building a tricycle on Christmas Eve! ** "But if you do not have the tub level, [or] you bump it ... you end up with water leaking out." Hey, ever try eating a full bowl of soup and someone bumps the table? Things spill! Ask Sir Isaac Newton. ** "Its [sic] too big for the sink and when I tried to move it off of the counter, it leaked all over the place. What a mess. It went right in the garbage after only one use!" Hmmm ... time to buy a new sink, perhaps? Look, the tub is tough to snap together the first time. And the infant bath (using sling support) -- stage #2 -- isn't the greatest. But on the whole, it's a good tub. The swing-out bath ring is a great feature, and the tub is plenty big for the average 15-month-old. We own it, we like it, we use it. And we read the instructions.
We love it! August 8, 2002 Lady Xanthe (Austin, Texas USA) 137 out of 145 found this review helpful
I got this without reading the reviews. (That happens rarely, but in this case I'm glad.) We were using the "4 Stage Bath System" by First Years and were thinking there must be something better out there. A fellow new mom recommended this one to us and we're glad she did! We like this one!We opened it up, read the directions (they are both on the tub itself and in the short pamphlet), and set it up. No problems! It doesn't leak, our baby loves it, and we all have great fun! We now use the sling. To respond to another reviewer's comments: it doesn't matter that the sling fits in the "deep end" because his waist-to-head is on the sling--and you the parent still controls the depth of the water. We found that the baby tub stays put, it's big enough for baby to fit in without bumping various parts of himself (like the other one we had), and the sling angle is high enough we can get some water in there without submerging him and low enough he isn't constantly sliding down. If you're looking for a baby bathing system to use in your tub, that will allow you to be right there next to your baby and that will grow with your baby (and you're not averse to reading directions), I personally would recommend this one.
Bought it in spite of bad reviews. Love It!! June 23, 2001 63 out of 64 found this review helpful
I read many bad reviews about this bath station and how people could not "lock" the tabs into place. Well, I thought I would try it out anyway. I liked the idea that I did not have to buy 3 separate pieces as my baby grew. It took me about 15 minutes to extend the tub and "lock" it into place, which is longer than we would all like. It was frustrating trying to do it by myself, but it was worth it. It didn't hurt it is just a little awkward trying to pull and lock at the same time. All in all it is worth the trouble. It was great as an infant sling to bathe, I love the whole tub thing and my little girl is now sitting up in the tub ring. I did have to put a little non slip piece in the sitting area of the ring because it is a little slippery. She loves it, I love it! It could use a little inprovement but all in all I would recommend if you have a little patience.
Must read directions carefully October 11, 2001 Rachelle Hall (citrus heights, ca United States) 61 out of 66 found this review helpful
First of all let me say the first time we used it, it leaked too.. HOWEVER... thats because it was not snapped togther properly. YOU MUST READ DIRECTIONS THOUGHLY before using. But on another note.. after it stopped leaking, I have found the tub to be okay for bathing (size, etc.) But tonight, I have found a major problem. The blue/green ring that can come out for older babies when put back for infant use (like the picture shows) hurt my baby tonight. He is 6 weeks and like all infants throws his hands around while laying on the sling. ( I use the sling the opposite direction so my babies head is not in the deep part of the tub) his fingers got caught under the edge of the ring... OUCH! We dont fold up for storage, because its too difficult to re-snap togther to prevent leaking. So, no, I would not recomed this product. Go simple and Soft.
Mom-To-Be Weary of this tub! June 10, 2003 61 out of 65 found this review helpful
I just received this 4-in-1 bathtub at my Baby Shower. My husband and I had not seen this tub when setting up our Registry-But we were impressed by all it said it offered...until we decided the next day to take it out of the box. The 'release buttons' were so hard to push down on to make the tub 'storage size' & I noticed they were cracked a little bit. The 'secure tabs' underneath the tub were confusing due to the diagram, but even when we did secure them, it takes a lot of tugging here and there. Finally, the sling, which seemed to be the selling point of this tub, will not SNAP into place. It sorta rests over the edge of the tub..not my idea of "Safety 1st!" I became frustrated with this tub after fiddling for 1/2 hour, put it back into the box and am thinking I will try to return it, even though I don't have a gift receipt :-(
