Product Description All aboard the next stop along the learning curve . . . kids three and up will enjoy the magical adventures of the ever-popular Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway System. Featuring characters from the Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends video series an
Editorial Review Duncan is a plain-vanilla type of train engine. He once worked in a factory and has a straightforward way of speaking. That, combined with his affection for rock & roll, has potential to get him into trouble. This simple yellow-and-black 3-inch wood engine brings to mind the proverbial worker bee. Based on the popular Thomas the Tank Engine series by Reverend W. Awdry and the PBS television show Shining Time Station, the wooden railway system is compatible with other magnetic train sets. You can reenact all the exciting stories in the series or make up new ones. Thomas fans won't want to miss out on any of these fun, well-built railway characters. --Emilie Coulter

Too Much Rock and Roll! June 7, 2006 Janet Boyer (Pennsylvania) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sir Topham Hatt and the other trains tend to get irritated with ol' Duncan, largely because he sways and swivels on the tracks--causing "confusion and delay". His driver calls his disruptive antics "rock and roll". Duncan is a plain speaking engine that means well, and is a bright yellow color. My son plays with him often and he has held up very well through lots of playing and jostling around in a drawer with the other residents of the Island of Sodor! Fans of the "Rock and Roll" episode will be especially delighted with Duncan!
Great toy for Thomas Lovers February 17, 2005 K. Macdonald (Indianapolis, IN) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My 21 month son is all about Thomas the Train. He just loves the stories, toys and music from it. Its a refreshing change from some of the other "boys toys" out there. Its pleasant not and not annoying in any manner, for adults. And kids just love the entire line. The toys are sturdy and can withstand some rough play times. Highly recommend it and very worth the money.
A Great Buy February 19, 2004 Mr. Bey (Riverside, CT United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Duncan is one of the little engines but his train shows him just as big as Thomas or Percy. These are great for little kids becasue you pull the trains by yourself without the use of any batteries. Great but I wish these weren't so expensive.
the only toy played by my toddler for ever May 18, 2003 Hui Liu (longmont, CO, United States) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I can only say the thomas tank engine series is the only one my toddler plays for ever and again and again for the last few years, and for the future year as well, I believe. It worths the expensive money.
THOMAS & FRIENDS ARE GREAT! September 30, 2002 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Like the other reviews I have written, we feel that ALL of the Thomas & Friends toys (engines, cars, track & accessories) are excellent. Yes, you can find cheaper items as Thomas things can get a little pricey, but it last and last. I hope to pass my boys stuff onto their children. The Thomas story line is pure. No junk going into our little ones heads from Thomas and NO BATTERIES REQUIRED! No lights, annoying sounds or running the batteries down. We LOVE Thomas in our home.
