Product Description Liquid Asana The Fluid Dance of Vinyasa Flow Yoga DVD TWO is a 65 minute full spectrum practice which builds on DVD one by introducing flowing yoga sequences that further integrate vinyasa yoga with 4 fluid dance movements, the circle, wave, spiral, and undulation. This DVD teaches you to become strong yet supple, disciplined yet creative with a focus on Core Strength and Tone, Sun Salutations and Standing Poses. While this practice is designed for experienced beginners to intermediate students, it is appropriate for anyone who wishes to bring more energy, creative fluidity and fun back into their yoga practice.

Slow deliberate flow December 26, 2008 YogaGirl (san francisco, ca United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
In the spirit of full disclosure, I wrote a review about Ms. Berry's beginner dvd.. a review that she did not like and therefore wrote what I guess was a very nasty comment,(I did not see the comment but guessed it was fierce based on a reviewer's response to her comment. She deleted it). I believe she stated that I didn't get her style. I get it, alright but I'm not inspired by it. I therefore decided not to spend a dime on her intermediate dvd, but as luck would have it, I received it as a gift from my secret santa, lol. So here goes my review so that you can form your own opinion. It is set in the same studio as the first dvd. A very nice and large space. The music is wonderful, very earthy. It starts out with slow hip grinds, spinal flexes, kneeling circular spinal movements. Those of you, like me who do kundalini yoga will recognize these warm-ups. She then does plank prep and plank vinyasa. This is a slow flow, nothing rushed. The next flow is sun salutations a & b. 3x each, I believe. Next are standing poses which consists of side angle, eagle, tree. Liquid lunges are next. Back bends follow which include camel, locust, and kneeling spinal waves. Final section is liquid stretch which consists of seated twists, simple hip opener and the hardest pose on the dvd which is bound half lotus twist. (I may have missed a few poses or waves) This dvd is for beginners and advanced beginners. I think intermediates will be a little bored. I would however, recommend it for those who like a very grounded, simple, steady practice. If you are into sweating and a large variety of poses, try another dvd. As I said it is a sloooow flow. Since I got it as a gift, I'm going to get an exchange from Amazon. I have so many yoga dvds that I like much, much better. So if you like Shiva Rea, you will like this one as they both incorporate undulations and waves into the flows. As I said in my last review, I kept waiting for Ms. Berry to let loose into some free form as she calls this the fluid dance of vinyasa and there is no dance free form or otherwise on the dvd. The music was so good and she was in such a large dance space, my brain kept screaming "move your feet, use the space". Anyway, I move on.
I'm still loving going with this flow January 3, 2009 jeffre (Ca.) When I reviewed the 1st DVD in this series, I loved it. This intermediate level is a perfect compliment to the first. Beautiful to watch, clear and precise instruction. The music is glorious and Micheline's smooth and flowing voice guides you with serene authority through the experience of this practice. Never boring, and wonderfully sequenced. Another must have for any yoga library.
