Over priced Junk February 6, 2007 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
This thing is flimsy...difficult to put together and keep together and not appropriate for anyone under the age of 8 even though the recommended ages are 4-8. The fence will not stay on, the hammock does not work at all If it was 25$ even 30$ I probably wouldn't complain, but fo 75$ I expected something a little better and more entertaining. My 6 year old daughter got this and the Theme park for Christmas and to be honest I found both to be the most disappointing toys of this Christmas, and the biggest rip off of the year.
The Titanic January 22, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 5 year old daughter who has fully loved her Polly Pocket dolls. She has spent many hours imaginatively playing, so I thought a playset would be a great Christmas present. WRONG!! This ship falls apart at the slightest touch. Many of the pieces are tiny bits of junk. All the railings fall off. The floor parts that swing out, fall off. The slide even comes apart easily. It has been one big frustration. Don't buy, unless you have children that are all older.
plain box? November 3, 2008 PeterPumpkinEater 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
The only thing I think is a bit of a buzz kill is the plain cardboard box. I know my kids love to look at the glossy pictures of the toys on the box with various poses and stage scenes. This gives the kids an idea of what the toy is all about. I would think twice before giving my daughter the polly pocket boat with just the boat and pieces in a baggie, she may not understand that it is a real nice toy, not some cheap mail order product from Lillian Vernon. Why not add a few pictures on the box?
Lots of Fun play January 30, 2008 Amanda Wilson 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My daughter received this gift for Christmas when she was 5. She loves it. She has lots of fun setting it up and making sure everything is in its place. I love it because everything folds up and goes out of the way for easy storage.
Okay. December 26, 2008 Michelle (Australia) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 7yo got this for Xmas and it was her favorite present, she really loves it and gets lots of imaginative play from it. We also got another Polly Pocket (Sparklin' Pet Mobile) and this was a complete disaster and falls apart whenever you touch it, so I can understand some other reviews about the flimsy nature of this product range. Needs gentle hands.
