I would say BUY IT April 7, 2008 Kellie J. Underwood (Texas) 125 out of 126 found this review helpful
When I first saw the t.v. ad for the Rug Stick. I thought how great would that be if it worked. There are areas of my carpet that are walked down and others that have stains. I have a 2 year old who has just about done everything to this carpet. I opened the box just expecting the worst and was suprised at how well it did work. The area of the carpet that was walked down was given new life. There were some stains that it did not get up right away. I had to repeat it a couple of times, but most came up with ease. It comes with a trial size of the foam but buy another one. The larger can of woolite heavy traffic foam seamed to work better. I know everyone will have their own opinion of how it works on their carpet but for me, it was a great buy.
Wasting of money. Not what I expected. May 4, 2008 Haroldo Oliveira (Denver, CO) 47 out of 54 found this review helpful
I got myself pretty impressed when I saw the TV comercial about this product. My carpet (by the front door) looks exactly like the one on the TV. The lady used the rug stick, and WOW... the carpet became like new. Of course, I wasn't expecting that, but I confess I was expecting at least seeing some difference. One of those RENTAL STEAMERS does the job much more efficiently. Here comes my list of PROs and CONs: PRO: - It looks nice! - It's a interesting way to dispense carpet produc directly into it. CONS: - Doesn't clean anything better than any other carpet product. - The stick is made of weak metal, and has many parts, it bends when forced toweards the carpet, in fact I had to knee anyway to do a good job. - The sample that comes with the product is not enough even for a bathroom rug. - Did I mention it does not clean anything? - The foam does not penetrate on the carpet, it stays on the top, the brush just spread them around. I had to use a hand brush to force the foam into the carpet. ** This item is hard to find on-line, but if you really want to test it (I do not recomend that) go to Safeway, they have it there.
Not too bad, not a miracle worker. May 6, 2008 Baltimom (Maryland) 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
We live in an apartment complex that decided light-patterned, berber carpet would be a good idea and started to get some dark, mystery spots. I was a bit skeptical, plus didn't think it would make a dent in berber carpet. Bottom line is you need to buy the refill right away, the sample size is pretty small. Work on a couple techniques, short scrubs in opposing and diagnal directions, and waiting for it to dry fully before vacuuming is pretty key. I didn't have a problem with it bending, you just have to be a bit careful, all in all, it exceeded expectations after giving it a couple runs. It's effectiveness is going to vary from carpet to carpet and stain to stain.

I was impressed with the product when I saw it on TV. My rug looks no different than before I used it. Save your money
Would recommend! September 25, 2008 V. Boyd (Las Vegas, NV) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I finally found this product at Vons. With the coupon the cost came to $12 including tax. I used it on three floor rugs. I have three dogs and one is a puppy who seems to think the rugs are his own personal pee pads. I have been using the Woolite carpet cleaner that comes with this product for a while to spot clean my carpet and rugs. The rug stick is much more convenient because it covers a larger area and I don't have to get on my hands and knees. I was concerned that it would be flimsy based on a prior review but I did not find that to be the case at all. It also removed a stain on one of the rugs that I hadn't been able to get out previous with a hand brush.
