My dermatologist recommended this soap for me as a teenager. I have used it every day since then and my skin is clear and radiant. My husband loves it because it cleard up the acne on his back. My 13 year old daughter loves it as well. The acne on her face has disappeared. Rarely can I find this soap in the drug store anymore, but it is always available on Amazon.com.

My family has been using Basis Clear soap for years. When I found them on Amazon a few weeks ago I bought an "8 Pack." They were not shipped in an "8 Pack" but as individual bars. Every bar was discolored. I called the manufacturer. The rep wouldn't say why the bars were brown but they agreed to replace them all free of charge. And asked me to return two bars for analysis in their quality control department. I asked the rep if they were harmful to sensitive skin. She checked with someone and said they were not.

As many of the reviewers have commented, it has become difficult (not impossible) to find on store shelves. My best source has been in the Seattle, WA area; not convenient when you your main residence is in Chicago area.
I've tried other products, and have on occassion ran out and had to go back to other brands. Within a day I can tell the difference - my skin is oily, blackheads appear and I feel a general sense of not feeling as clean. Within 24hrs I'm back to my old, clean self. I wish they made a body shampoo!

I had used this product for a few years and all of a sudden it wasn't in stores. It works wonderfully. It is like having and achne medicine and soap all in one, and it doesn't leave your skin dry. What is even better is that it is cheaper on Amazon, even with a delivery charge, than it was in stores!
