Growing up in England, - - tea was an essential part of each and every day.
In ANY emergency, be it the German bombers coming over, or your worst nightmare about to confront you, - a cup of tea settled you down. On the other hand, - - - if your wildest dreams came true, a cup of tea was a celebration. Not a day went by that a cup of tea wasn't enjoyed.
Here I am 70 years later, and still can't imagine one day without a cup of tea. My husband and I are well travelled, and last year through Africa and Asia a cup of tea was anticipated and enjoyed daily. Can't imagine life without a cup of tea really!! It's a comfort, a security blanket and a daily ritual which I can't imagine giving up.

PG Tips is the Ferrari of Tea Bags. Good, strong and very flavorful. You would need 3 Lipton tea bags to come close to the power of 1 PG Tip tea bag. BE WARNED: ONCE YOU TRY PG TIPS IT WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT TO GO BACK TO THE WEAK DOMASTIC JUNK! I cannot drink anything else!!!

This is my favorite black tea. When you can find it in shops in the US, it's quite pricey. I was happy to see it made available here and at a good price too!

I was so happy to find our favorite tea at Amazon, and for such a good price. It is no wonder that PG Tips is number one in Britain. The British teabags, which are made of gauze, allow much more of the tea flavor to shine through than do our American teabags.
