 My favorite "natural" shampoo June 25, 2007

I've tried several different kinds ... this is by far my favorite. A light & clean scent, leaves my hair soft and shiny, lathers up better than other brands. (I still need to wash my long hair in 2-3 batches, but compared to Burt's bees it was way better than the 4-6 batches!) After switching from conventional shampoo I can just tell this shampoo is way better for my hair and scalp. I used to have "greasy" hair after 1 day, now I can go 2-3 days without washing and my hair still feels silky and clean. I am positive it's because the chemicals in regular shampoo irritate your scalp and oil glands, causing over-production. Try it. You'll love it.

So think about it - your skin absorbs the things we put on it. That includes the skin under your hair. And the skin under your hair is right there on top of one of your most important organs - YOUR BRAIN!!!!
So have you ever read what is in your shampoo? Hmmm. Some pretty nasty crap!!! All of which you are putting on your head, with nice warm water to fully open your scalp pore for enhanced absorption!!!
Do yourself a BIG HEALTH favor and use this natural shampoo. We have tried a variety of natural based hair shampoos and this one is the best we have found so far. It lathers very well, the biggest problem with natural shampoos. It leaves your hair very clean and smooth feeling.
A nice benefit of using this shampoo is that it will most likely eliminate any dandruf problems you might have. Since we started using natural shampoos, our scalps are feeling a lot better with no more itching or dry spots or flaking at all. I actually think that most scalp conditions are a result of the nasty chemicals found in most hair shampoos, including dandruf shampoos.
A final note - the product says it is a "Frequent Use" shampoo. Well, believe it. My husband shampoos his hair twice a day on many days and this shampoo does not dry out or damage his hair at all.

Both the shampoo and conditioner are THE BEST I've ever purchased or used. It smells light and fresh, and it cleans and softens gently.

Great shampoo that doesn't have the harmful chemicals of normal shampoos. My dandruff has lessened significantly since switching to this Frequent Use Kiss My Face shampoo. The only thing to be aware of is it takes about twice as much to wash with than traditional high chemical shampoos. The smell of citrus is also very nice and pleasant! I Highly Recommend it!

I have tried lots of natural hair washes and conditioners over the years, but none of them can really compare to the good chemical brands. They are really in two different classes. If I compare this product to other natural brands, I would say it is about average and nothing special. It leaves my hair heavy and tangled, not light, brushable and bouncy. I went back to Pantene and put this in the Kiss my Face in the guest bathroom.
