4 out of 5 stars Nice grip   January 6, 2009

Haven't actually had to use this tool yet, but based on previous experience with scrapers this one is of good size with a nice grip. Can't imagine what the "shock absorber" is for.

5 out of 5 stars It works!   January 9, 2009

I live in Wisconsin, have a one car garage but 2 cars so I get a lot of practice with ice scrapers. I have been frustrated by the typical plastic models that do not effectively clean the windshield. Rather, they only clear a small portion of the scraping area leaving thin lines that do not let you see out. I was desperate enough to buy the expensive IceDozer Plus Ergonomic Ice Scraper and - alas - it didn't do the job either.

I got this Hopkins scraper, tried it and it worked! It cut down the time to clear off my car greatly - which is important if you happen to be running late in the morning and then see your car covered in frost.

It has a nice ergonomic design. Good value for the price.
