With the JVC GY-HD100 camera you need a lot of batteries, they only give you about 60 minutes each, but you get a double charger with the camera so you can be charging two while you are shooting, and so I get by with 4 batteries on a typical shot. You can get other batteries but they are really expensive. I would look at how many batteries it will take to do the shoot then look at all your alternatives.
