Amazon.com Product Description Mortimer the Moose will keep baby amused for hours with his many colors, textures, and sounds. His antlers are teethers, his feet are colorfully patterned and make a variety of sounds, and he chimes when you pick him up. From birth on up, Mortimer is a cute toy that will hold your baby's attention. Cuddly, Stimulating Fun Even for the Youngest Baby The Lamaze Mortimer the Moose is part teddy bear--his body is soft and cuddly--and part teether--his antlers are a soft, sturdy rubber that's perfect for chewing. His tail is made of two rubber rings, ideal for baby hands to hang onto. His hooves are multicolored and festively patterned, which attracts baby's eyes. When your little one grabs the bright colors, the sounds the hooves make will produce even more delighted giggles! Morti's Good to Go The Lamaze link on his back makes it easy to take baby's favorite moose along, and you can hang the toy over a crib, car seat, or play mat. Your baby can enjoy the chimes, squeaks, rattles, and crunches anywhere you go. This well-built moose will stand up to the most enthusiastic play. Great Toy! January 25, 2008 JadeBailey24 (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is one of my 5 month old's favorite toys. It keeps his attention for a good amount of time. He loves the crinkle sounds and teething antlers. I love that it comes with an attachment hook, making it very easy not to lose. It has a high cute factor too. I would definitely recommend Morti to any friends.

The moose has ears for teething, the feet have crackle in two hoofs and bells in two hoofs. the tail has two rings which can also be chewed on - very nice. It also can be hooked on things.

Bought this for my 7 month old grandson, he grabs for it and immediately brings it to his mouth, he seems to like the crinkle sound and it also seems to satisfy his teething needs in a way. Plus, this little Mortimer is adorable in all ways. Scored an A+ with this guy. Barb
My niece's favorite July 11, 2008 C. E. Checa (CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was my niece's favorite Lamaze toy. Before she had teeth, she would gum the antlers longer than she would pay attention to ANYTHING else. I used the hooves to show and name her different colors (each hoof bottom is a different color). She also liked sucking on Mortimer's nose for some reason. I think it's the ripply, textured fur. Oh, and the two rings on Mortimer's [...], or I guess his "tails," are great differently-patterned/textured sorts of rings. Oh, but don't stick him in the dryer. His fur pills.

My grandson loves this Moose. There are enough sounds and things to chew to keep his attention but not too much to confuse him. I also like the assortment of rings for his little hands to grasp.
