Product Description This sleek headset from Plantronics is ideal for use either in your car or with selected DECT phones. It is compatible with all headset-ready cellular, PCS or cordless phone, i.e., equipped with a jack for plugging a headset directly into the phone. For cellular and PCS phones that are not headset-ready, you will need a headset adapter with a built-in headset jack. M110 features an adjustable headband for comfortable, secure fit, adjustable microphone boom an advanced speaker technology that protects hearing. The Plantronics RF Noise Shield reduces annoying RF static noise. The microphone on the headset possesses an adjust switch for optimal voice output. The headset is compatible with telecoil-equipped hearing aids. It also has the special clothing clip for added stability on the move.
Amazon.com Review The sleek Plantronics M110 headset for mobile and cordless phones is a nice little unit that sits comfortably even during the longest hands-free conversations. It can also provide added safety to your cellular phone calls when driving because both hands can remain on the wheel. The M110 features a sturdy headband, padded flexible earpiece and headpiece, and a fully adjustable microphone. It required no assembly and, in our experience, was extremely versatile. The microphone can be worn with the headband on either ear, and the headband was very light and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The sound quality of the earpiece and microphone were both very clear during testing. A noise-canceling microphone eliminates background noise on the M110, and makes your voice easily understandable to callers. There are also three levels of microphone volume, though there is no volume adjustment for the earpiece and, in our tests, we often had to ask callers to speak up. The headset has a 4-foot cord with adjustable clothing clip to give you a wide range of motion. The M110 can be used with any cordless or cellular phone that's headset compatible and has a 2.5-millimeter jack. --Megan Dugan Pros: - Reversible microphone and earpiece
- 4-foot cord and clothing clip

Solid Headset September 5, 2005 Derek Hofmann (Mesa, AZ USA) 37 out of 37 found this review helpful
This headset that I use with my Uniden cordless phone and Samsung cell phone was a replacement for one by a different brand that broke. This one feels more solid and so far has lasted longer than the old one. Some reviews about this headset complain that the other side can't hear you or your voice is distorted when you're wearing this headset. There is a little 3-way switch on the plug that you're supposed to adjust until the headset works properly with your phone (I think it's a gain adjustment). When I first tried the headset, I called a friend to help me determine the best position for the switch.
Works Great For Me July 8, 2002 27 out of 29 found this review helpful
I have used this headset for over a year now. It has worked very well for me, using it with my Polycom desk phone. I find it comfortable, with excellent sound quality both from the earpiece and through the microphone to those on the receiving end. I also purchased the Plantronics headset phone which came with this same headset. The reason I have not given this 5 stars is that I have experienced the same (and only) problem with this headset. The wire is slightly short for my use. This in itself is not a problem, but I tend to pull it, sometime yanking it off my head if I'm reaching too far while on a call. Again, this in itself isn't a problem. However, over time the phone plug has developed a short or something so that the connection sometimes becomes crackily, and worse, sometimes emits an extremely loud screech to through both my earpiece and over the line to the receiver. This has happened to both of my headsets. I wish the plug was a bit more durable, but given the realitively low price, I will simply purchase a replacement and try not to stretch the wire too often. I've tried many headsets and I find this the most comfortable and best performing headset.
A Very Decent Headset February 9, 2004 M. Lee (Santa Monica, CA) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I actually originally bought this for my cell phone (a Nokia) however for some reason it was not compatible with it and didn't work (so take that as a warning to all you folks with a Nokia). However, instead of returning it, I decided to test it out on my home phone and it worked great! The ONLY negative thing I can really think of to say about it is that this headset is definitely made for people with smaller heads. If your head is anywhere on the bigger side than it may be a little small for you. But as far as sound quality if concerned, you hear everything crystal clear and it is very durable (at least compared to other headsets I've bought in the past). Definitely a good purchase!
The best I have tried for the money. August 11, 2005 J. Matt Landrum (Starkville, MS USA) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
I think this is a great headset for the money. I can wear it comfortably for hours. The volume is good. I rarely get complaints from listeners, and when I do, a small movement of the microphone boom fixes it right up. I own or use 5 headsets. The only headset of the 5 which I have found to be better is the expensive Plantronics I use at work. Of the 4 I have at home, 2 are the "wrap around the ear" kind. I do not find this style comfortable. I cannot wear them for more than about 30 minutes. The Panasonic version has scratchy foam fore the earpiece which makes it almost unusable (as compared to this Plantronics which has a soft, leathery feel). The other wraparound I have is more of a hard plastic. It feels better, but it still hurts my ear after a while. The last headset I have at home is an expensive Motorola blue-tooth earpiece for my cell phone. I find that the Motorola does not sound as good (sounds like I am in a garbage can) and is not as comfortable as this Plantronics. I think this headset is a great deal.
Good quality. Now good price. September 7, 2003 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
I use this headset with a cell phone 4-8 hours every day with no problems. The incoming sound quality is indistinguishable from holding the phone to my ear. I have had NO complaints from the many people I talk to that my voice sounds muffled.I have tried other headsets/earpieces and they all uniformly hurt my ear by the end of the day. This headset has been the best in that regard, though there is still some minor discomfort. Of course the trade-off in this case is that there is a headband over the top of your head which I'm sure some people would find objectionable (hair style interference). Overall, and certainly for this low price, I highly recommend this product.
