It's very easy to use, small and light. The quality of the images are very good in during daylight. It could be better in indoors (lack of good light) shootings. But it's definetly a good buy. The price is wonderfull.

Good quality mini-DV tapes. I used these tapes as master copies to transfer to computer for video editing and keep it for record. With the value I paid, I don't have to keep re-using the same tape.

There is a combination of things that give you great picture quality including but not limited to the type of camera you use, lighting, and of course, the kind of recording tape you use. I chose the JVC MDV60u10 because it provides great color and works well with my Panasonic DVC30P prosumer camera. The playback is the same time and time again with little to no loss. I have found it to work very well and provide great service for our documentaries and promotional work.
