The largest of Tamrac's 5000 Series professional camera bags, the Pro 12 protects two digital or film SLRs with lenses attached, multiple additional lenses and accessories. It is equipped with two Slide Pockets that incorporate Tamrac's exclusive Memory & Battery Management System (patent pending) for identifying available memory cards, batteries, and other accessories. The foam-padded main compartment features Tamrac's USA patented Lens-Bridge Divider System. The Dual Action Top has quick-access Easy Squeeze buckles plus an internal zipper for extra protection. Pockets inside the top keep film and accessories visible and organized. The two ZipDrop front pockets feature mesh and paraphernalia pockets to organize accessories and personal items. Roomy enough to hold two camera bodies, seven to eight lenses and a flash, the Tamrac Pro 12 camera bag is the ideal solution for the photographer who requires a complete assortment of equipment. The foam-padded main compartment, in conjunction with the padded dividers, provides a soft, gripping web of protection for your camera equipment. Accessory pockets abound. The top flap has mesh pockets for filters and other flat accessories. The front has two zipped flaps with mesh pockets on the inside, as well as internal pockets that conveniently hold whatever is needed. Padded side pockets can hold additional items, while the overhanging top section protects the contents from the weather. Internal pockets can hold batteries, calculators, tickets, or anything else that needs holding. Also includes film pockets that can store film and are even detachable from the bag itself, preventing exposure to x-rays, and allowing easy inspection by officials. Carrying the Pro 12 is a breeze with either the handle or the padded shoulder strap. When using the handle, a torsion bar stabilizer strut in the top distributes the weight.

This bag is GREAT. I use it toghter with a tamrac backpack. But i prefere this one. It's nice and big. and easy to adjust to your needs.
I use this bag when i travel by plane as my handluggage. It fits my basic travel camera gear and some other stuff like a book and a bottle of water.
The strap is good and doesn't hurt.

I've been using my Tamrac Pro12 bag for several years and it's still in like-new condition. The bag is plenty large enough to hold all my gear with room to spare. The dividers allow for a large variety of layout options and has plenty of pockets for accessories. The bag is well padded and made with a tough snag and rip resistant fabric. All the seams appear to well stiched too, with box-stiching on all the major stress points. The carry strap is contoured, well padded and slip-resistant which makes for a much more comfortable day of lugging heavy camera bodies and lenses around.
Every couple months I recommend spraying the outside of the bag down with a quality water-repelling spray such as that used for tents and other camping gear. This will do wonders for weatherproofing the bag to prevent your delicate equipment from getting damp if you're out and get caught in an unexpected rain.

I needed a camera bag that is light weight but able to hold all that I need when using a film 35mm camera and a digital SLR. This bag if perfect. It will hold 2 35mm cameras(SLR digital) with lenses attached and additional lenses, flash,filters and gadgets. It has a special place designed for extra memory cards and a system to show which ones have been used.It has another special place for film.
The best part is that it is very easy to get in and out of this bag when you are out taking pictures.

Have been able to my Canon 20D, 70-300mm lens,Canon Elan,70-280mm lens, a 50mm lens, 580 and 430 flashes, Turbo Z,Epson P2000, all of chargers into the main compartments. Multiple cables, extra batteries, manuals, cleaning gear, and everything else required for a shoot. Love the room and all the little small pouches to stash stuff in. Only minor complaint is the number of zippers and buckles needed to access main bag. But I am anal and always zip and snap them and will never pick my bag up and have all fall out. Price was unreal. Buy it.

The Tamarac Pro 12 is a well thought out and well made camera bag which holds more gear than my previous Lowepro Magnum AW for much less cost. Amazon's price on this bag was lower than anywhere else I shopped. Great Value and Great Price plus free shipping made this a fantastic purchase.
