What more can I say about the venerable Nikon 18-200 F3.5-5.6 AF-S VR lens? Its a fantastic piece of hardware in a compact package. Perfect for traveling or just impromptu shoots in the field. Its not the fastest glass you can buy, but it does sink nicely into a compact day pack and can be easily tucked into a coat in case of a surprise shower. The super long zoom range makes it extremely versatile, I don't even carry the standard kit lens that came with my D70s anymore. The vibration reduction takes a little getting used to to fully make use of its capabilities but when you learn its tricks, it will become your friend when the light starts to fade.
The accessories that Cameta Camera includes are great. The blower is powerful, the lens cap keeper strap is handy, the HOYA UV filter is a must have, and who else cant use another cleaning kit?

For any kind of outdoor or well-lit shooting, this is pretty much the only lens I ever use. The AF is super speedy, though it does make a slight grinding noise. My only complaint is that the manual focus ring moves really slowly.

The lense is a nice all in one zoom. I like not having to switch lenses while on vacation. It isn't too heavy either compared to some of the professional models. I use it with my D40x and the pictures come out beautiful!

it's very good deal to take a nikon lens .. it was my dream to buy because its completly different than other lenses brands no sound i feel like i have robot in my camera for AF no zzzzzz sound!! no headache for fast shot photos & vibration reduction is a must new tech in this lens.
complete set is value & recommended.
