Le's Birthday November 30, 2007 Ms. Brenda Watts (Big Tex) My niece loves this remote. It must be sturdy if she's had it a couple months and it still works.
Zen Remote February 15, 2008 Mir This remote works well. But it comes with no clip to attach somewhere. A remote in my experience has to have some way of attaching to a person's clothing or backpack. If i had known that this remote didn't come with a clip of some sort i would not have bought it. It has 6 buttons and 1 switch. Built in Microphone near the headphone port Pros: Affordable, Works well, Built in Microphone Con: No Clip, Small buttons, Telephone button?
Questionable item November 26, 2008 J. Jackson (Mobile, AL USA) This is not the "official" remote from Creative, but rather an after-market clone that misses the mark. The first thing I noticed was the lack of any way to clip this item to your clothing as most remotes have. The second thing I noticed was that the "lock-unlock" switch indicators are backwards. It is locked when it indicates it it unlocked, and vice-versa. And when it is locked, the Pause-Play button raises the volume if it is pressed. This shouldn't happen, the buttons shouldn't work at all when it is locked. The button on the side that switches between music and the radio has a picture of a telephone receiver on it. What's up with that? It looks like it's left over from a cell phone headset. The case feels cheap and is not put together well at all. It has one screw at one end and nothing at the other. I think it was supposed to have some sort of catch, but it is broken off or just a manufacturing defect. When I tried to turn my ZVM off with this remote attached, it switched to the radio and started recording. I had to remove the remote to make the buttons on the ZVM respond correctly. I am very dissatisfied with this item.
