Less than a month. February 29, 2008 M.Dickerson (Eugene, Oregon USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this February 3rd. I received it within a week. That part was great. Now it is February 28th and I am shopping here on Amazon for another one. This charger quit working last night. So it worked for about 2 weeks. Wow!
Useless February 18, 2008 A. Bitokov (Arizona) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this charger for my "Creative Zen" player. First time when I used it, it took the whole night to charge my Zen. I thought that it was some problem with the player battery, so i plugged it into my laptop thru USB to check. After 2 hours my player was 100% charged. Maybe i got defected item?! I dont know. I didn't send it back though, cause it too cheap even for return.

I thought I'd take a chance on this item because of the low price. My mp3 player, Creative Zen Micro, isn't on the list of compatible players, but I thought maybe I'd get lucky and it would work. Result? No luck. It doesn't recharge my Zen Micro. In fact, it seems to be messing up my player, although when I plug my player into my computer it eventually starts working correctly again. It's a cheap, poorly made product. If your mp3 player isn't on the list, don't even bother. Even if your player is on the list, this is not a great product. I wouldn't recommend it.
Works for a while then dies August 29, 2008 S. Maclane (Arlington, VA) I purchased this recharger a number of months ago and it seemed to work fine. Was pleased because it was so inexpensive. But it just died, so perhaps if you want this you should buy it in bulk.
Bad Workmanship September 15, 2008 Philip A. Wend Sr. I found the reason this unit didn't charge my Zen was the metal part of the 1.0 USB plug was too short. It fit in but didn't go in far enough to make good contact to work. I tried cutting the solid black plastic around the plug back but that only worked for a while till all I had left was wires & the 1.0 metal plug. Eventually the wires came loose and it was than useless. Save your money............
