| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Bushnell PowerView binoculars offer contemporary styling and design with traditional Bushnell quality and durability. A variety of styles and features appeal to a wide range of users from students of nature to concertgoers. Outstanding light transmission through fully-coated optics ensures bright, crisp clear viewing. Mid-size roof prism models with 32mm objectives provide increased brightness for low-light viewing conditions.

| Customer Reviews:
hard to believe people continue to buy these August 8, 2006 Markus Twainus 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
"Dad, why is the image in these binoculars so dim and shaky?" "Because it's got too much magnification for a hand-held binocular." "Why is this thing so hard to focus?" "Too high magnification and a lot of slack in the focus mechanism." "Dad, why is it so hard to follow birds in flight? "It has a narrow true field of view." "Why is it so hard to postion my eyes so that I can see the whole image in both eyes?" "Small exit pupils, very short eye relief, and the hinges don't have much resistance to hold the proper interpupillary distance." The only virtues of these binoculars are their compact size, light weight, and reasonably wide apparent field of view (AFOV). Those that gave these binocs a good review, try a similarly-priced pair of lower-magnification binocs, notice the sharper and steadier views, easier focusing, and see if you go back to these. If you need a very inexpensive, very compact binocular that is at least decent/useable, try out the 8x21s of similar design under various brand names; they are better in just about every practical respect, and cost less.
