This motorized pan head does a very nice job. The movement is smooth in both the horizontal and vertical movements. I have seen no jerking motion when it stops and then continues. The only concern is the vertical motion motor generates more noise then the horizontal motor. I am using a Sony DCR-HC90 which has a very sensitive mike. This should not present a real problem if the recording sound is at a normal level. The head works well on both batteries and an AC adapter. I am satisfied with the performance of this motorized Pan Head and would recommend it to anyone need such a device.

I recommend this product 100%. It has made a world of difference with my video. I use to get about 50% or less of usable video with my tripod now I get over 90%.
