| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Carbon 8X C-series carbon fiber tripods are light weight, fast action and offer ultimate strength along with reliable performance. They are made from the latest generation high quality, 8-layer carbon fiber tubing. The Carbon 8X C-series is 60% stronger than the conventional carbon fiber tripods. Each of its leg lock has a specially designed anti-dust and moisture seal, along with a removable rubber or stainless steel spike feet. Moreover, each leg of this tripod can be bent at an angle of 24, 55 and 80 degrees to accommodate uneven terrain or awkward shooting situations. Anti-twist leg sections and a grooved center column make this tripod's setup and breakdown quick and easy.

Light and compact when folded July 19, 2007 Elyone (Ohio) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is a travel tripod. It's very light, seems quality built and collapses to one of the smallest tripods around, thanks to its 4 sections. (the 4th leg is VERY thin, yet I have no problems with it) For those not aware, Induro is the USA/Euro band name of Benro, a Chinese company. This is a tripod for small systems. If you have one of the small Cannon or Nikon dSLR's, with max a 55-200mm "consumer" lens, this is the tripod for you. If you have anything heavier, you might need a full sized, thicker leged pod. I bought this for when I go bicycle riding and traveling. Don't forget you need to add a ballhead (or whatever head you like - but ball head is most appropriate for this) that also adds to the overall weight and size. (I got the Manfrotto mini ball - a perfect fit on this.) Only problem I have, is that there are no holes in the top to insert screws to lock down the ballhead. The case it comes in is also high quality and is just big enough to fit the pod + my mini ball head. Don't forget to register to auto extend the warranty to 5 years - its not clear that you need to do that to get the full 5 years. EDIT: After 6 months of use, I stand by my review. I am not a heavy pro user, so it does not get opened on a daily basis, however over time I am still happy with it.
