I searched the internet for monopods looking for one light in weight with the ability to hold 12 pounds of camera equipment. I found monopods costing as much as $350 and the specifications were no better than the Induro MA24 which I bought for $49. I am impressed with the Induro's build quality and finish and can't imagine what a $350 monopod would have over this one. My wife and I both use it and are considering buying another one.
