The highest magnifications are almost useless, because loss of clarity. Otherwise, it works pretty well. The case is really cheap quality, and one zipper is already bad. You get what you pay for, so the more expensive scopes probably work better.

I am sending my scope back after looking through it only once. Be advised only lowest power is satisfactory. As you increase in magnification the image is distorted and portions of edges crescented and very hazy. Spend $100 more and get a nikon or pentax through amazon. Please save your money and dont buy this scope!

Good sharpness even at the highest magnification. The only design drawback is that it has to be refocused every time the zoom is changed.
