Although cute and practical, I would say this photo key chain is like a lot of the other ones out there. The images are very pixelated and grainy. If you crop your images from high resolution to just a portrait or specific detail in the picture then it'll probably be alright. But for the size and price, it's still a fun little gadget. Don't buy it for those tech-savvy people because they'll be just as disappointed as I was. Program installed easily as well and it was quick to add pictures into the key chain.
Not shabby... December 22, 2007 S. Sakariassen (Seattle, WA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is not a bad little photo viewer. As expected the pixels are not all that high (not that any key chain viewer is), the viewer will occasionally turns one pixel black which can make some photos look odd, but it is easy to edit if you have photo editing software. All and all for what it was made for, it aren't bad. I do like the all black background which helps frame the photos. Also if you are good about turning it on and off after each person views the charge holds up a long time. I like that it uses a mini USB to connect because I already have other devices that use this so I have lots of ways to charge it. The software interface is VERY limited, all editing must be done before importing photos, and this includes the photo orientation (rotation). The photos are kept on the viewer, so if you do not "download" them into the viewer and then close the program you will loose all the photos you have moved. It will also skew (stretch to fit) some photos if not properly cut to size. Software interface would be my biggest complaint, but overall, I am happy with my purchase.
