 Not the fastest option for digital camaras May 15, 2007

If you are buying a memory card for a digital camera, the xD Card type H is a much faster option. Faster to write to the card after taking a picture and faster to download onto your computer. I just bought the Olympus sp-550uz along with the xD card type M that was recommended in the "people who bought that also bought this" section of the description. Big mistake. The 1GB H xD is 3 times as fast.

This XD card is an original Olympus product that really is a 2 gigabyte card, and not some counterfeit. I think it's very dependable and fairly fast; with a write time of 3 seconds with an 8 megapixel camera at the highest-quality setting. In my Olympus C8080-WZ 8 megapixel camera, this card will hold 520 photographs at the super-high-quality picture setting. It comes with a free card container that can hold six XD cards. I highly recommend this card.

Amazon had the best price by far that I could find on a 2 Gb Xd card, so I couldn't resist. I'm using it in my sp-550uz camera. You must use an Olympus card in this camera in order to use certain premium functions. Nice card...nice price. Thanks, Amazon!

I purchased this card for my Olympus Camedia C-60 camera only to find out when the card arrived that it doesn't work with my camera. This was my camera's fault, not the card's fault (my camera only works with a particular type of 512MB card). The good news is that Amazon took the card back, no problem.

This card holds around 650 photos along with some videos on my 7.1 MP cam under the Super High Quality Mode which is very good. The write speed and read speed are fine.
