Ok Camera (Really its 3.1mp) July 17, 2008 Kerry Miranda Lowrey (Louisiana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ignore the 12MP, that means nothing. Its actually a 3.1 mp camera. The camera itself is ok, but is not very hardy. The battery cover managed to break about 3 months after I bought it. Camera still works with tape over the battery cover- but I do not recommend this to anyone who needs a rugged camera. Also the time from pushing the button to take the picture and the actual time it takes to take the picture is almost a full second. Taking a picture of anything in motion is almost impossible. If you do manage to get the moving object in frame it ends up being blurry. So I would recommend this camera for people that are taking pictures of still objects and give it very tender care. The video portion of the camera works pretty good. It does skip occasionally, but then its was not made just for video capture. I use it only for video right now as its very small and light and I can carry it in my pocket very easy. I dont know that I would buy this item again- but it has done the job I have needed it to do so cant complain.
