My wife says they don't last March 24, 2006 Mute208 (Bay Area, CA) 22 out of 32 found this review helpful
I got these for my wife who listens to AM radio on her portable Sony radio while commuting on the bus and train, 5 days a week. She would run through a ton of regular alkaline AAA batteries so rechargeables made sense. She has a pair of the Energizer's and a pair of Duracell's that are of the same capacity and she says that the Energizer's are terrible and hardly hold a charge. We use a MAHA MH-C401FS charger which charges each battery independently so they don't get overcharged. What else can you say about rechargeables? Either they last long or they don't. These Energizer's DO NOT. We recently got a pair of Sony AAA's and they seem to be even better than the Duracell's.

batty quality poor... do not hold a full charge for more than a few days.
Better to pay for the name brand this time March 8, 2007 M. Carstens 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
These batteries last a long time. Cheaper batteries won't hold a charge after repeated use/charging. I have AA Energizer batteries and after a year they still hold a charge with out any problems.
Energizer batteries August 5, 2007 Priya Swamy (Philadelphia) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I find these batteries are ok for use in a product...I don't expect them to be as good as a regular battery. However, you need to charge them right before your trip...unused charged batteries do not seem to hold their charge. In the past I've used Rayovac batteries and chargers for a period fo 10 months for the batteries. I don't use these batteries that frequently so I don't know how long they will be rechargable.
Rechargeable and always ready October 6, 2007 D. Randolph (FOB Warhorse, Iraq) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It is very convenient to have spare rechargeable battereies on hand. This way you always have fresh batteries for your electronics. I am currently in Iraq and I use these batteries for my headlamp and Bose noise cancelling headphones. These batteries seem to hold a charge longer that traditional batteries and it is very convenient to know that you always have a fresh set of batteries available. It is the worst thing for your batteries to die and not have a spare. I switched to rechargables about a year ago and will never go back.
