Great Printer July 26, 2004 L. York (San Antonio, TX) 60 out of 62 found this review helpful
My fax and printer went out on the same day (what a week!) and I replaced my plain paper HP fax and my HP 1100 printer with this Canon L80. I use it for everything! No problems, easy setup, clear faxes. After 2 months of constant use as both a fax and a printer, I have no problems with this unit.
Great little machine May 30, 2004 59 out of 60 found this review helpful
I've owned the Canon L80 for about a month now. I find it to be a great laser fax machine, and it also doubles as a fine copier for small jobs when collating and a flatbed copier are not needed. For my small office needs, this Canon works perfectly for me.
Great Quality Fax and Laser Printer May 6, 2005 F. Delbridge (Nampa, ID USA) 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
I purchased this item because I needed a good fax machine and got a great bonus with it being a laser black & white printer also! Inkjet fax machines cost a fortune in replacement cartridges and the Canon has a very good laser replacement cartridge at a good price as it gets 2,700 to 3,000 prints per cartridge. The quality is beautiful since it is a laser. Set up was very simple and the prints from my computer are professional. I also utilized the distinctive ring features so I know a fax is coming in versus a regular phone call and don't pick it up. I highly recommend purchasing it.
Poor Phone September 2, 2004 Anonymous 20 out of 47 found this review helpful
The phone on this unit was an after thought. No caller ID and no handsfree calling. Also the first time you dial, you'll thinkg the unit is broken as it oddly switches the tone from the handset to the unit's speaker.
Must be a better machine September 19, 2006 D. Coene (Illinois) 16 out of 18 found this review helpful
Replaced an old Sharp fax machine with what I thought was newer and better machine. WRONG!! if you don't baby it , it will not feed multiple pages. likes to pull two or three sheets at a time. What a pain! Other functions are not as intuitive as one would expect.
