Wrong drivers in box. August 2, 2007 Oleg Drokin (TN, USA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Turns out, they started to put Vista-only drivers after certain point, at least my unit was only equipped with those. Also no way to put this card into low-profile chassis. Once driver issue is resolved (I have XP), it works pretty well, though.
XP Pro and Drivers September 1, 2007 Fish eater (east coast) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
1 star for driver installation. If you're running XP Pro, make sure you you manually select the driver and turn off auto install and select the one that is listed in the manual...not the libertas one.
Fantastic wireless card October 10, 2007 Terry D. Anderson (Kansas City) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I don't consider myself a terribly tech savvy person but this arrived and I installed it into the computer using the good directions provided. Initially it didn't work but I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded the new driver and it worked perfectly. The software is excellent and the speed is impressive. I think it is a great card for a great price.
Two Words...Plug & Play! October 17, 2007 L. Moore 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
What more could a consumer ask for. I plugged this into an open slot inside my sons computer, turned it on, ran the setup, and bingo, this thing worked like a charm. Dont forget to plug the antenna in like I did though, I though it was really slow til I saw this lying there, screwed it on, and the download picked up speed til it was over in a flash. I was amazed! Good purchase.
Inexpensive PCI Adapter Woks!! March 18, 2007 Don Jenkins (Florida) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was well pleased with this WiFi adapter in not only was the price right, but it came with well written (for a change) instructions. The graphic display of the conditions of your Internet Connection were far more detailed than anything you could get from XP with Service Pack 2 and I'm running it on Windows Millenium. Don Jenkins
