Product Description These little powerhouses are the perfect fit for any desktop and budget. Though they're small enough to fit into any workspace, the magicolor 2550 printers have the power to handle the demanding requirements of both small offices and work-groups. Full front access means reloading supplies and clearing media jams is a snap. And, long-lasting toner yields 1,500 (standard capacity) or 4,500 (high capacity) prints for low cost-per-page printing.

Pros and Cons---think carefully October 15, 2007 monsieurms (USA East Coast) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This printer presents a mixed bag. Think carefully before buying it. The good news: it comes with a lot of pricey, high capacity toner and the print quality is fast and very good. The bad news: Konica put all of its money into the high technology parts of this, and then cut every corner it could to put the printer together. The first one I had wouldn't print. The second one arrived with a bent frame. The fuser rollers are plastic--even though next to a high heat area. How long will they last? An accordion page jam in the fuser area looks almost impossible to get out without pulling apart the printer. But here's a kicker on a printer advertised as networkable and useful for small businesses: printing envelopes requires removing all paper in the tray, adding the envelopes, then opening the printer's cover and pulling up envelope tabs near the sides of the fuser. It's hard to believe anything so common could be so time consuming. Here's Konica's response: "This printer is not actually designed for printing envelopes. That you can, is just an added feature which takes the necessary steps to do so." A printer not designed to print envelopes.....?????? Think carefully about what you need before buying this. If i had it to do over, I would not buy it. It is only for those who need to squeeze every nickel out of the printer package. P.s> I will give them credit for excellent service, swapping the first defective printer out, and then sending a serviceman to fix the second. Of course....if there weren't two defective printers in the first place, that wouldn't have been necessary.
Excellent Laser Printer February 8, 2008 Backpin (Pinehurst, NC USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have purchased three of these printers and give it two thumbs up. No problems.
look elswhere May 21, 2008 cyras21 (VA) I purchased this printer for the primary objective of printing retail sales labels. The paper is fed into the machine by one larger roller. Regardless of the type of paper, it will not feed properly. Everything is printed on an angle and I've complied with all of customer supports recommendations. Also, If you're looking for detail in your images this is not the printer for you. There are lil specs of red, blue, and green that appear throughout the image and is very noticeable on whites. This is my second printer in a quest to find one suitable and I'm now searching for my third.
