| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The magicolor 5570 easily manages the printing demands of productive offices. With a first-page-out time of 14 seconds, it delivers 31 color or 37 black & white pages per minute. The printer features Emperon printing technology, an 866 MHz PowerPC processor, and a 120, 000 pages/month duty cycle. The onboard 256 MB DDR SDRAM, which doubles data throughput and consumes less energy than conventional SDRAM, can be upgraded to a maximum of 1024 MB for even more processing power and productivity. The magicolor 5570 is network-ready, equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet interface for high-speed business networks. Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and parallel interfaces are also available for local printing.

| Customer Reviews:
Fast, fairly economical, good quality April 28, 2008 Joseph L. Kashi (Soldotna, Alaska) On general principles, I hesitate giving any tech purchase a 5 star rating, but the Minolta 5570 color laser printer is close enough to desire five stars, particularly in comparison to its competition and in view of the low price sold on Amazon. Quality is quite good and per page speed, even with complex Acrobat color pages, generally is very good. High capacity toner cartridges are fairly inexpensive compared to the competition, again resulting in a low cost per page. I have used many laseer printers and this is the best that I have found so far. An duplex printing unit would be very nice but does not seem to be easily available.
Most UnderRated Printer We've Owned May 27, 2008 a happy user (Chicago) We purchased the Magicolor 5570 after returning a defective Xerox Phaser. We could not get the Phaser working and despite their on-site warranty, Xerox refused to come out and assist. Hence, the Phaser was returned to the embarrassed retailer. This turned out to be very fortunate for us as we purchased the Magicolor which is better, faster and less expensive than the Phaser. Our needs include near photo-quality graphics, good text quality and high speed. The setup was easy and the Magicolor has the best resolution/color fidelity of any laser printer we have ever owned. Unlike the Phaser, the output page/minute throughput (we didn't actually time it) seems consistent with the rated output. We have owned the Magicolor about a month and have no complaints to date. It is heavy duty, high speed and has excellent photo quality for a laser.
