Do NOT buy a Gateway computer. They are toxically bad. AVOID!!! I needed to recover my computer and could not find the recovery CD. They charged me $20 for a new one. Then I found out that if you buy a Gateway anywhere but the Gateway site they make you call a 408 long distance number, instead of the toll free number, for support. Talk about screwed up! And to top it off, if your computer is out of waranty, they won't even tell you how to boot it off a cd, nothing. They won't talk to you unless you pay them. From now on I will go nowhere near Gateway.

Couldn't ask for more out of a PC. I've had it a few years, and it's now out of warranty. For starters, I made sure not to lose my restore disk. Then again, I know how to take care of my my computer so I've never needed it. Built in media card readers are excellent, and it has more than enough USB ports. Vista runs great with the regular maintenance, and I've now got 64 bit Ubuntu running on a second 320 gig hard drive. Did I mention the E4300 (the processor) supports 64-bit OS's? Also installed 2 extra gb of RAM, this thing's very upgradeable, and I have yet to run into any real problems with it. It does everything I need it to do, including audio and video editing for my band.
