BEWARE-FIRE HAZARD January 18, 2008 Gail A. Reed (Cicero, NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
OUR HUB OVERHEATED AND MELTED AND WOULD HAVE STARTED A FIRE IF WE HAD NOT FOUND IT WHEN WE DID. WE BOUGHT IT 6 WEEKS BEFORE IT OVERHEATED AND THE ELECTRICAL CORD WAS PLUGGED IN AN OUTLET-----OUTLET WAS FINE----UNIT DEFECTIVE.

GE 97863U SB 2.0 7 Port Desktop Executive Hub This is a great product. The mounting option is solid and very useful to keep things organized.
Found a device we really needed! September 28, 2008 Glenda G. Hall GE 97863U SB 2.0 7 Port Desktop Executive Hub This product works wonderfully to add extra usb ports and organize all the cables around our computer. It mounts easily to a worksurface. No problems so far!
Piece of junk. November 21, 2008 WendyZ (Eastern NC) We bought this at a wholesale warehouse store b/c we were in need and it was cheap. Big mistake. It worked okay for the first couple of months, and then things just randomly and inconsistently stopped working on it. Sometimes moving the plugs around helped, but ultimately we replaced it with a much better model from another company and have had way better results!
